Embroidery is another decorative art form that is as old as the history of human civilization.                                        
Countless distinct styles have developed over thousands of years, representing the cultural
and spiritual heritage of those regions. Various forms of Chinese, Indian, and Assisi styles are
commonly known.  Production techniques in the art form include crisscrossing, mixing,
netting, scattering and other more specialized methods.

The advent of computers has made it very easy to produce embroidery at a mass scale. 
In some cases, an untrained eye may not be able to tell the difference between a 
handmade piece and its machine made counterpart.  In value, however, a comparison 
between machine made and handmade embroidery is akin to that between machine 
made and hand-knotted rugs.

Our affiliates produce both hand embroidered and machine embroidered articles.  The work is done to create exquisite silk scarves, tunics, and cushions, though articles suitable for framing are also produced.  Our craftspeople can produce artwork using various themes to create portraits, landscapes, animals, flowers, and abstract collages.
